EDUCATION:
Clemson University- Bachelors of Science

"I get my passion for teaching honestly, as both of my parents are recently-retired teachers. I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Secondary Science. I am broad field certified to teach and tutor students across the entire spectrum of high school sciences.
I married my husband, Andrew, in May of 2012, and I immediately joined him in Atlanta. I taught at Centennial High School from 2012-2017, covering subjects including Honors and On-Level Physical Science, Physics, Biology, and Earth Systems. Additionally, I served as a virtual school teacher for Fulton County during the 2015 and 2016 summers.
Andrew and I recently welcomed our first child into the family; a sweet little girl named Sawyer June. She has completely stolen our hearts.
We are HUGE Tiger fans and find ourselves back in the upstate cheering on the Tigers quite a bit each fall! We both love the outdoors and enjoy taking our Golden Retriever, Gus, on hikes and camping trips. We’re quite excited about the first camping trip with our little Sawyer; it will certainly be an adventure!
I am very excited to continue my teaching career here at William and Reed Academy. I consider it a true blessing to be working at a school that emphasizes core academic skills as well as the complete development of its students. Go Warriors!"
