  • When can my family visit W&R?

    The best way to experience W&R is by attending one of our Warrior Walk-Thrus -- an informational session designed for prospective families. If you’re unable to attend, we’d be happy to schedule a private tour at your convenience. Contact us to learn more or to reserve your spot.

  • What are the school day hours?

    W&R operates on a four-day concentrated schedule, with students attending classes from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m., depending on their individual program. To view W&R's academic calendar, please click here.

  • Is lunch provided at W&R for my student?

    If your student stays past 12:30 p.m. for Flex Period or afternoon extracurriculars, they’ll need to bring their own lunch. Lunch takes place from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.

  • Does W&R offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses?

    Yes, W&R currently offers eight face-to-face AP courses: AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics, AP Environmental Science, AP Language, AP Literature, AP U.S. History, AP Government, and AP Psychology. Additional AP courses are available through our online partner, Pearson Connexus.

  • How do students receive elective credit?

    W&R students earn elective credit through our extended day foreign language program, Minimester courses, online classes, and community partnerships with local businesses offering music, art, dance, driver’s education, and more.

  • Does W&R have an athletics program?

    Yes! Students at William & Reed Academy can participate in Cross Country, Girls Flag Football, Basketball, Cheerleading, Swimming, Golf, Tennis, and Track & Field.

  • What extracurricular activities does W&R offer?

    From Student Council and Yearbook to Broadcast Journalism, Literary Magazine, Red Cross Club, Chess Club, Running Club, Pickleball, and Clay Target Shooting, W&R offers students countless opportunities to get involved -- and new clubs are added every year!

  • Do you have a college counselor?

  • Is W&R religiously affiliated?

    No, W&R is not religiously affiliated. The school maintains a non-discriminatory admissions policy and welcomes students of all backgrounds.

  • Do you accept international students (I-20)?

    At this time, we are not able to accept international students.

  • What extracurricular activities does W&R offer?

    W&R currently has Student Council, Yearbook Club, National Honor Society, Journalism Club, Running Club, Student Ambassadors, Community Outreach, and Chess Club with more activities being added each year!
