“I have always been passionate about education. Ever since high school, I have been working with and educating youth in many different facets. Previous work as a coach, a youth group leader and camp counselor have solidified my passion for education. My passion for education, paired with some incredible history teachers in high school, led me to pursue the profession of teaching. As an educator, my goal is to ultimately help students develop skills that support critical thinking and while drawing personalized, educated conclusions. History CAN be fun and my goal is to help students experience this!
I grew up in Forsyth County and graduated from Lambert High School. I recently got married and bought a small farm in North Forsyth. I love any outdoor activity especially fishing and hunting.
I am honored to work at William & Reed Academy because of the unique culture provided here. This is a place where a more holistic and personal education can happen due to small class size. Caring about the students is incredibly important to me and I believe that William & Reed helps make this happen. I look forward to many years at W&R.”
