"I first decided that I wanted to be a teacher when I was in kindergarten. I loved everything about being at school and still have vivid memories from that year. There is nothing like working with students and getting to witness them explore and discover the world. Growing up in Massachusetts, I had many amazing teachers that shaped the teacher I am today. I have been blessed to have taught in a wide variety of schools where I discovered a true passion for teaching science. William & Reed is a great fit for me and my personal teaching style, and I am so honored to be a part of this incredible community. The students here are treated as human beings first, and the small class size allows teachers to really get to know them as people, not just another student they have to prepare for testing.

I married my husband Stuart in 2007, and we have two boys together. Ryan is an amazing musician, namely as a percussionist, and Drew is an avid athlete, excelling in both soccer and basketball. We also have the sweetest black lab and three crazy cats. We love to travel together, especially to National Parks and the beach. I also enjoy reading, playing tennis, and watching sports of any kind, particularly if any of my Boston teams are playing!"
